Bought the bottle while visiting the Chateau. Saved it for a special occasion. Thirty minutes decanted. On the nose, I detected leather, earthy notes, mushroom, with a hint of black fruits (not much left). I tasted leather and earthy notes, with a slight hint of black cherry. The tannins were mostly gone and the finish felt a bit a short. It did lose some complexity into the night. Overall, I think it is past its peak but still slightly going. I still did enjoy it, as it brought back memories of my family visiting the Chateau. I would drink now.
