A totally different experience from many of those immediately below! Hence the post. Surprising dark crimson appearance - looks like a much younger wine. nose is mint, pleasantly herbal, tobacco and black cherry. Tannins are fully resolved but the fruit is still ample black cherry, cassis, and blackberry. Some cocoa notes and above herbal quality give interest to the palate as well. A surprisingly good bottle! If you have them I would still drink up, but this particular bottle would give significant pleasure for 2-5+ more years.
