Nose: strawberry, spices, hints of black pepper, cherry, black fruits Notes: 13% ABV. This Clos de la Roche is quite elegant, showing some nice strawberries and spices. I've liked Drouhin reds from recent years as they often display elegance and plenty of subtlety. The strawberry died down after half an hour and more black fruits came out. Generally speaking as it opened up the wine started to show more dark fruits and became a bit heavier. I think this wine still has plenty of life ahead of it and I would be interested to try this again in a couple of years time. Drink: 2028+
